Today’s Tracks #5

June 25, 2012

TODAY’S tracks via Last FM include the dance music of the now defunct DOMU and the Brazlian jazz legend DEODATO.

Domu was the turntablist Dominic Stanton who gave up the music industry some years ago having spend 15 travelling the world. His mixtapes sound fantastic, combining dance, chill out and world beats.I’d never have heard them but for the random nature of Today’s Tracks. There are a ton of the mixes out there, so get on it.

Deodato is the Brazilian jazz, classical and pop artist and producer Eumir Deodato, who has sold more than 25 million records worldwide and won a Grammy in 1974. He’s also produced Kool and the Gang and Bjork and worked with Lee Ritenour and George Benson.
