Top 3 songs: Great Liverpool bands: The La’s, The Farm, Smaller

March 16, 2013

I saw Lee Mavers get thrown out of Bo Diddley gig. Even that can’t contain my love.

No-one knows the fun I had dancing to this in the Cellar in Lurgan and the Mandela Hall and Snack Bar discos in Queens University. No-one knows the discomfort I now feel meeting members of the Farm in Sainsburys, because I live near a couple of them. I’ll be working with Carl the bass player soon. MUST. NOT. BORE. WITH. GUSHING.

The band Oasis could have been. And, I mean that.
