Final Top 3 songs of all time for Dave Monks’ Radio Merseyside show: Van Morrison, Frank Wilson & Public Enemy

March 17, 2013

DID my Favourite three tracks for Dave Monks on Radio Merseyside tonight. You can listen to it here, starting at about 1hr 37mins.

However, it all came down to my favourite two artists and a song I have going round my head almost every day. My favourite artists will always be Van Morrison and Public Enemy, while Frank Wilson’s ‘Do I Love You (Indeed I Do)’ is, for my money, the most perfect pop record ever committed to vinyl.

Dave Monks performs a brilliant service to the music community on Merseyside. He’s a brilliant journalist and interviewer and him, and producer Kat, put out a great show every week. More power to them.

There were great tracks tonight from Howie Payne, Marc Carroll, the Book Thieves and the mighty Sunstack Jones.

Below the fold are my favourite three tracks.
